Paul & Romilda | Melbourne Wedding Photographer

Just like in your fridge at home – there is a little man that turns the light on in my head. So when Paul & Romilda said to me “just do what you do” the little man was jumping up and down, running around with a big smile on his face and ready to kick some wedding photographs butts! But first, we need to go back to how it started. The first time I spoke with Paul on the phone many months ago. I was sitting there at my computer booking flights to go overseas and the conversation went a little something like this…

Paul – “I really love your work Jeremy, Are you available on this day…”

Me – “Umm… Ahh… Umm… I’m kinda in the middle of booking flights to the USA during that weekend.”

Paul – “Oh”

Me – “Well, I can probably still move my flights. I haven’t booked them yet!” (I was less than a minute away from clicking the book flights now button)

The rest as they say, is history. Well, not really. More likely recently. But still.

Coming from both Italian families there was plenty of delicious Italian food & drinks and so many great moments, especially the kids! Being around all of this delicious Italian goodness made me a bit sad, wishing I was back in Italy. But then I realised how awesome it was to be photographing an Italian wedding right here in Melbourne, Australia! Here are my favourites from the day. Thank you again guys for such an awesome day, enjoy the pictures!

Boorowa Picnic Races

According to the Boorowa Council website the Boorowa races is the “greatest race on Earth”. While that’s a pretty big claim, it definitely is a fun day in the sun. I’ve been the last couple of years and this year I spent most of my time documenting the day. It’s a pretty wild day in the country and here are some of my pictures from the day.

(I also recorded audio and will put together a video with the audio once I get back from the US). Did I mention I leave for Canada and the US in 3 days?!!

Matt & Caity – married in Port Macquarie

Matt and I have been mates for pretty much as long as I can remember. We met in high school, had all of our year 12 subjects together, even went to the same uni to study the same degree! So being asked to photograph his and Caity’s wedding was such an honour (and not the mention great fun!) It was a reunion the night before with all of the guests getting together for some food and drinks, with plenty of reminiscing on the ‘good ol days’. The gorgeous day combined with the beautiful coastal location provided the perfect atmosphere for these guys. Relaxed, beautiful and you just couldn’t help but smile. (the whole gallery is here).

Groovin the Moo

Whenever we see photos of concerts and festivals we always see photos of the rocktstars lit beautifully and doing what they do best. But I feel like there is much more that makes up a festival and what makes up our experience as an everyday punter. So the focus for me was to shoot some photos at Groovin the Moo that show the side of festivals that you don’t always see portrayed… Here is some of what happens when you put 15,000 people in a paddock and entertain them. Enjoy!
