Monthly Archives: March 2012Yesterday was a pretty awesome day. Lunch with a good friend, dinner involved bacon (man I love bacon), wine and a home made crumble. Oh and I picked up a brand new 5D Mark III. I haven’t really had a good chance to test it out yet – but here is one of the first frames off the camera. Introducing Andy. South Australia is blessed with some pretty amazing wine regions, so it’s no surprise that both Selina & Andre work in the wine industry and had their wedding at a winery (the beautiful Glen Ewin Estate in the Adelaide Hills). We met up at the Jam Factory the day before the wedding and I knew instantly it was going to be a fun one! The sun came out for the ceremony and the afternoon was perfect, all the guests hung out for cocktail hour without having to leave the venue and then going straight into the reception a little bit later on. (I can’t recommend this set up highly enough, everyone has a great time and it makes it possible for the couple to get time to spend with their guests). Everyone was enjoying the sun, laughing, crying, and having just the best time! So with that in mind, I thought it would be a great time to showcase their wedding it a slightly different way. Here’s a video slideshow of photos – with a twist. I recorded sounds all day (including the music being played) to create this piece.
