Stace & Nick {Wedding}

It’s always such a pleasure (and also such crazy pressure) to photograph your friends wedding. It’s like normal wedding pressure times about a million. I’ve known the lovely Stace & Nick since the early days of their relationship and watched these little love birds develop into some of the most lovely people you could meet. (We also shared one or two wine nights dancing around the lounge room to some seriously bad 90s music – life long friendship right there).

Their wedding was in Sydney with the reception just around the corner from Stace’s family home at this cute little park. Their wedding incorporated everything about these guys and came together so well. Friends, family, lollies, lots of dance floor action and lots of hard work putting it all together. I can’t say enough positive things about connecting the dots between who you are as an individual, as a couple and then bringing it all together into your wedding and making it yours – it really does add some much depth to the whole wedding experience.

Well that’s enough words from this ol’ chap. Lets get onto the pictures of the lovely Stace and Mr Nick!

Andy – First portrait with 5D Mark III

Yesterday was a pretty awesome day. Lunch with a good friend, dinner involved bacon (man I love bacon), wine and a home made crumble. Oh and I  picked up a brand new 5D Mark III. I haven’t really had a good chance to test it out yet – but here is one of the first frames off the camera. Introducing Andy. Shot in 5 minutes while taking a break from editing.

For the camera nerds out there: 5D Mk III, natural light, 85L, f/1.8, ISO 640, 1/160 sec.
